Who We Are: A Family Inspired by Stories

Hi, I’m Matt, and this is my family’s story. Growing up, my dad had a special way of telling bedtime stories—he didn’t rely on books or scripts. Instead, he created magical tales on the fly, asking me questions to guide the adventure and bring characters to life. Those moments not only sparked my imagination but also became cherished memories that shaped who I am today.

Now, as a parent myself, I’ve found myself searching for ways to create those same moments for my child. But I quickly realized that today’s screen time options for kids often lack the magic, connection, and creativity I remember from my own childhood. That’s when I knew I wanted to do something different.

Storytime for Toddlers was born from my desire to give parents like you a tool to spark joy and imagination in your little ones while strengthening the bonds that matter most. This app isn’t just a product; it’s a reflection of my family’s love for stories, creativity, and finding ways to turn even the simplest moments into something extraordinary.

Whether you’re cuddled up at bedtime, waiting in line, or sharing a quiet moment during a busy day, Storytime for Toddlers is here to help you make screen time meaningful—one story at a time.

The Why Behind the Stories

Like many parents, I’ve wrestled with the idea of screen time. While I don’t love the thought of my daughter spending too much time in front of a screen, I quickly realized it’s almost impossible to avoid in today’s fast-paced, tech-driven world. Screens are part of our reality—but they don’t have to be a negative influence.

As a programmer and part of a technological family, I’ve spent my life fascinated by the way technology can inspire creativity and exploration. The first time I understood how computers worked, it sparked a lifelong passion for tech and design. That’s the kind of exhilaration I want my daughter to feel—an excitement about learning and discovery through technology.

With Storytime for Toddlers, I set out to create an app that not only entertains but also enriches. I want my daughter’s relationship with technology to be one of growth and opportunity, not guilt or avoidance. This app is designed to transform screen time into something meaningful—an experience that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.

Storytime for Toddlers is more than just an app; it’s my way of helping parents like me navigate the balance between technology and parenting in a way that inspires growth, connection, and imagination.

Turning Screen Time into Story Time

As parents, we’ve faced the same challenges you have—how do we navigate technology in a way that enriches our kids’ lives? For us, the solution wasn’t about restricting screen time, but about reimagining it.

We wanted an app that reflected what mattered to us as a family: creativity, connection, and meaningful moments. Storytime for Toddlers is built around these values. It combines the joy of storytelling we experienced as kids with the tools to nurture curiosity and growth in today’s tech-savvy world.

This isn’t just a product we created—it’s the result of years of dreaming, parenting, and asking how technology could be a tool for good in our family’s life. We hope it becomes the same for yours.
